Trusted Seller is earned, not bought.
There is no way to pay for this badge. It comes from completed sales and the feedback attached to them.
What it takes
Three things, all of them visible on the seller profile so you can check the working rather than trusting the label.
- An identity check already passed, so every Trusted Seller is also Verified.
- A minimum number of completed sales through the marketplace.
- An average feedback score at or above our threshold across those sales.
Both thresholds are set in our admin settings rather than hardcoded, so they can move as the marketplace grows. A tier that is trivially easy to reach is worth nothing.
How it can be lost
A run of poor feedback drops the average below the threshold and the badge goes with it. A substantiated report of misrepresentation, a watchlisted serial, or a confirmed scam removes it immediately and usually removes the account too.
The badge reflects a current record, not a permanent title.
What it still does not mean
It does not mean we inspected the item. It does not guarantee condition or authenticity. It means a real, identified person has repeatedly delivered what they promised to other members of this marketplace, which is useful information and not the same as a warranty.
